When Wisconsin’s own Grace Stanke spoke at Yerkes Observatory, we were there in the front row for her homecoming. The nuclear engineer and reigning Miss America inspired all with a speech that included her initiative for clean energy (and a cleaner future), as well as the all-important need to continue breaking down barriers for women in science.
